If asbestos is suspected to be present within a building, hire somebody to come out and collect samples of the suspect building materials and have them tested to a certified lab to see whether they contain asbestos or not ,. If they do you need to follow certain protective practices in the removal of the product or call one of the trusted asbestos removal company sites like Asbestos Removal in San Diego.;D
